German artist / inventor Julius Von Bismarck created something very cool. A machine to project your own image inside images made by others. The machine, resembling a normal but somewhat large SRL camera, projects a film positive through it’s lense onto a subject being photographed by others. The projection is triggered by the other photographer’s flash and lasts a fraction of a second, so the projection is not visible to the human eye.
Von Bismarck states on his website: “People’s great trust in their photographic reproductions of reality was what motivated me to develop the Image Fulgurator”
Mr. Von Bismarck has some excellent examples of it’s use on his website.
