My thoughts exactly

What if pressing the “create post” button at the bottom of this page actually published these writings to the internet and made my thoughts available to millions of people around the world? This idea scares me. It will mean an end to the comforting privacy of the darkened outskirts of non-public thought. Stepping into this lime light, deluted by my co-publishers as it may be, is quite a step. 

And besides that, what will I actually talk about? Which of my many thoughts or views would qualify to share with the world at large? And would anybody care? What if nobody does? Would that not make the very fabric of my personality obsolete?
